Small on purpose
We've never wanted to be the biggest daycare in San Ramon. A small group means we notice the quiet child, the off day, the new word.
About us
Bright Minds opened in 2011 as a licensed family child care home on York Lane, and it has been run the same way ever since: a small group, a warm house, and caregivers who stay.

Meet Anita
Anita has led Bright Minds since it opened, and parents in our Google reviews name her directly — usually alongside the homemade food and the daily photo updates. She and her team handle the whole day themselves: cooking, circle time, nap, the scraped knee at 4pm.
The best way to understand what that feels like is to stand in the room. Come by during the day and you'll see the group in its normal rhythm, not a staged tour.
What we believe
We've never wanted to be the biggest daycare in San Ramon. A small group means we notice the quiet child, the off day, the new word.
Everything is cooked in our kitchen each morning. Children eat together at a real table, and they try things they'd never touch at home.
The same caregivers, the same rhythm, the same routines. Predictability is what lets a small child feel brave enough to explore.
Many of our children start as babies and leave for kindergarten. Siblings come back. That continuity is the whole point.

Parent testimonials
“Anita and team have done a wonderful job helping us raise our daughter. She's been here since she was 1 year old and has thrived because of the loving care givers, the homemade food, and intentional programming. Would recommend to anyone in the area!”
“Of all the home daycares I toured, this was clearly my number 1 choice. My son was always happy to go there.”
“I have always loved watching the regular updates about the day through pics and videos. Fresh homemade food is provided to kids.”
Tours are relaxed, in-person and take about 30 minutes. Bring your child — we like meeting them too.
