- Are you licensed?
- Yes. Bright Minds is a California state-licensed family child care home in San Ramon, and we have operated continuously since 2011. Our license number is posted at the entrance and we're happy to share it during your tour.
- What are your hours?
- We're open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm. We follow a published holiday calendar that we share with families at enrollment.
- How many children do you care for?
- We keep our group intentionally small so every child gets real attention, and we staff to well within California's family child care ratio requirements. We'll walk you through our current group makeup on your tour.
- Do you provide meals?
- Yes — and it's the thing parents mention most. Breakfast snack, a hot homemade lunch and an afternoon snack are cooked fresh in our kitchen each day. We accommodate common allergies and vegetarian diets.
- Do you help with potty training?
- Absolutely. We partner with you and follow your approach at home so your child gets one consistent message. We start when your child shows readiness, never on a fixed timeline.
- How will I know how my child's day went?
- You'll get photos and updates through the day, plus a daily summary covering meals, naps, diapers or bathroom trips, and highlights. Families consistently tell us this is what puts them at ease.
- What should we bring?
- A change of clothes, diapers or pull-ups if needed, a crib sheet or nap blanket, and a comfort item. We provide all meals, snacks and learning materials.
- What does enrollment cost?
- Tuition depends on your child's age and the number of days per week. Reach out and we'll send you our current rate sheet along with availability.
